1. Is it essential to book courses (planned/private) or guided outings in advance?

 

Answer: It is always a good idea to book in advance, especially during the months of July and August. More and more bookings are being made online, which can result in limited availability on site. We therefore strongly recommend that you book in advance, preferably online, to guarantee your place.

 

2. Can you confirm the reservation for me?

 

Answer: The confirmation is sent as soon as we have received the payment. If you paid by card on our website and the order was accepted, you will receive the confirmation within 24 hours. You can also choose the option to pay by invoice. In this case, you will receive an invoice by email. After receiving the payment, we will send you the confirmation of your order.

 

3. If I book without paying, is my session guaranteed?

 

Answer: No, we guarantee the reservation only after receipt of payment.

May I cancel my reservation ?

5. Where is my first meeting with my instructor/guide?

 

Answer: When you book one of our services online, you will receive a confirmation email containing all the information related to your booking, including the meeting location.

 

6. What are the schedules for classes and guided outings for half-days and full days?

Answer :

Half-day hours: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Full day hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

7. When is the best time to book a guided tour or mountain bike lessons?

 

Answer: Our mountain bike school is open all year round, but the best conditions are between May and October. If you want to use the ski lifts, we recommend booking between July and September.

 

8. Is the subscription included in the price of the course?

Answer: The ski lift subscription is not included in the price of the courses.

 

9. What subscription should I buy?

 

Answer: It depends on your technical and physical level. We advise you to purchase your subscription directly with your guide/instructor on the day of your course or guided tour.

 

10. What is my level?

Answer: We use the International Trail Rating System (ITRS). Below is an overview of their system, as well as a link to the full explanation of their different levels.

11. What language does my instructor speak?

Answer: Our instructors are fluent in French and English.

 

12. What is the difference between a course and a guided tour?

 

Answer: During a course, the emphasis is on learning new moves and correcting your riding technique. During a guided tour, the emphasis is on discovering the region and its trails.

 

13. What do the scheduled courses or sessions consist of?

Answer: These are guided outings or group lessons at a preferential price, scheduled on a specific date and for a specific level. However, for the session to take place, a minimum of three participants is required. If the number of participants is less than three, the session will be cancelled or transformed into a private session, provided that you agree to pay the difference.

Answer: We accept a maximum of seven participants per guide/instructor.

15. What materials should I bring for my course/guided outing?

 

Answer :

A mountain bike in perfect condition for riding.

Mandatory protection: helmet, gloves (full face for gravity disciplines), goggles.

Clothing suitable for mountain biking and weather conditions.

Drinking water and snacks. For day trips, bring a picnic or money for the restaurant.

Sunscreen.

Cash.

Insurance card and identity card.

Bikepass / half-fare / AG… (depending on the case)

Phone charged.

Personal medications if necessary (eg: asthma).

Repair kit if you come with your own bike (inner tube, pump, multitool).

Note: Depending on the planned tour, other equipment may be required (full face helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, back protector, headlamp, sleeping bag, etc.)

 

16. What type of bike should I bring for my lesson/guided tour?

 

Answer: It all depends on your level and expectations. However, since our region has a lot of rough terrain, we recommend that you opt for a full suspension bike with at least 150 mm of travel for optimal comfort.

 

17. Where can I find good deals on equipment rental, accommodation and food?
